Who we are

Mr. Michael Johnson is the founder and CEO of MIJJ foundation Inc., mentoring and inspiring the Juvenescence journey, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization

Michael received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Masters in curriculum and Instruction from Georgi Southern University, followed by his specialist in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia. He currently leads as an Assistant Principal at Sally D. Meadow Elementary school.

This organization Aims to Empower, Engage, and Equip young boys in positive character development activities to help them demonstrate academic success, acceptable social and emotional behaviors, problem-solving strategies, etiquette, cultural diversity, and life skills to become positive leaders in their school and community.

Our Mission

The mission of the MIJJ Foundation is to cultivate and engage young men through academic coaching, social-emotional support, and cultural exposure to promote lifelong learners.

The MIJJ Foundation Inc. will embrace the ambition and dreams of young men by providing adequate support to students in 5th through 12th grades and in post-secondary education by assisting them in:

  • Community Volunteering

YGC Statistics

  • Grown From 8 students in 2021 to 56 students in 2023
  • 97% of the cohort maintained passing averages for the year.
  • 9 students made the honor roll for the year
  • 36% of our YGC members did not receive an office referral the entire year.
  • 50% received 1-3 or more office referrals.
  • Visited the State Capitol and the King Center in Atlanta, GA.
